Replacement Decree Absolute (England or Wales)

From here you can order an official copy of Divorce Record (Decree Absolute) issued from a court in England or Wales.

The standard service includes a 10-year search and the certificate production - additional blocks of 10 years can be purchased optionally.

In the event that a matching record is found, you will receive a certified copy of the decree absolute. If there is no trace of a decree having been granted, you will be issued with a 'no-trace' certificate.  

Orders are typically fulfilled within 3-4 weeks, although you should allow 5 in the event of any queries relating to your order.

For our overeas clients, please be aware that some overseas authorities will require to you to have your document 'Legalised' to prove authenticity. This is known as an Apostille and is carried out by the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office. You are advised to check whether this option is needed before you order. We are happy to provide the Apostille service to you order, however please note that this adds approximately 2 weeks to the order process owing to the sheer volume of requests received by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office every week. The Apostille service charges add £45.00 per document.
